Behind its simplistic exterior, this small church has some magnificent Renaissance sepulchres. It has been situated in the neighbourhood of San Pedro y San Felices since the 15th century.

The church has a Flemish Gothic style facade. On the inside, the sepulchres of Alonso de Cartagena and the first Bishop of Almeria stand out, being two of the best examples of sepulchral art in Burgos.

This Covent belongs to the Order of Saint Augustine, it has been inhabited by nuns since 1470.
