Museo de Farmacia / Pharmacy Museum
This museum can be found on the second floor of the Gate of Santa María. The Pharmacy Museum is home to a collection of pharmaceutical objects from the 16th to the 19th century; most of which come from the famous pharmacy of what was the Hospital of San Juan. It is worth highlighting the beautiful collection of pots which were made in Talavera de La Reina in 1558, decorated with the emblem of San Juan Evangelista, and a pestle dating back to the 16th century. We can also see blue and transparent glass containers from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, some laboratory instruments including big copper pots and stills.
