It was built in a neo-classical style; its original façade is held by six columns and its portico communicates the Plaza Mayor with the famous Paseo del Espolón. The two upper floors are connected by a balustrade and two towers, one on each side, topped by wrought iron spires. There is a clock below each one of them. In the middle of the balustrade is the city’s Coat of arms.
